Returning to Super Mario Land

Featuring the same style of gameplay as the hit Super Mario Bros. for the NES from a few years earlier it (combined with Tetris) helped make the Gameboy the success it was. This was the first video game I ever played and the Nintendo E-shop on the 3DS has recently allowed me to go back to it almost 20 years later. I didn’t realize this at the time, but boy was this a different Mario game."
