War, one of the Four Horsemen has been accused of starting the Apocalypse and destroying the Kingdom of Man. The most feared of the Four, Death, argues with the Charred Council on behalf of his brother. His arguments of War's honor fall on deaf ears and so while War sets off on a journey to find who is responsible for the Apocalypse, Death takes on the much larger task of undoing what War has been accused of — the annihilation of Humanity.
