Retro Quick Look:- Pokemon Blue (Gameboy)

If you were playing video games in the late 1990′s then this week’s Retro Quick Look will need no introduction. Originally released in the UK in 1999, the Pokémon series began with a gigantic explosion of popularity with the release of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue on the Nintendo Gameboy. Essentially both Red and Blue are the same game, however certain Pokémon found on the Red version were unavailable to those with Blue and vice versa. The only way for players to collect all 150 Pokémon was to use the game’s trading system, transferring specific characters from one Gameboy to another.
