Free Undertow = Live compensation
Xbox Live Arcade shoot-’em-up Undertow is being offered free as compensation for Xbox Live downtime occurring over Christmas.
According to a post on Gamerscore Blog, the game will made free for a limited period only. The free period kicks off on Wednesday 23 January at 2am PST and ends the following Sunday at 11:59pm PST – which works out something like 6pm on Tuesday 22, and 3.59pm on the Sunday for us in the UK.
What happens if you already own Undertow though? Will you be offered an alternative? Unfortunately it’s not clear at the moment.
Undertow’s a pretty underwater shoot-’em-up that features single-player, co-op and multiplayer battles. Usually it’d set you back 800 Microsoft Points.
