During the a livestream from Jump Festa with Game Director Hajime Tabata, Square Enix Showcased two awesome videos of Final Fantasy XV.

Glorious ! It looks like it has Advent Children's kind of atmosphere with this urban art direction. And this is awesome !! The more I see, the more I get hyped. Fingers crossed it delivers.

Well it's been largely said that the team behind Advent Children and the First 2 kingdom hearts are working on this. So that's why the Advent Children feeling is present throughout it.

Oh and that female mechanic is "Cid"... Well "Cidney" but She's the female embodiment of the franchise staple of "Cid" who specializes in all things technology.

The feel is so similar to VII and VIII I find it strange that some people aren't getting "the vibe."

XIII was the first FF that didn't feel like it was a final fantasy. I mean...The summons were transformers for Christ's sake.

This team just blows now compared to the old Square team.
This is Final Fantasy yet all I see is GTA car driving mechanics and the over the shoulder cam. The whole "sexy girl" aspect they obviously havent learned from when they made Lightings tits larger each game in order to sell which didnt work.
The comments Im seeing are "The graphics look amazing". ....Yeah they do. They should. Its next gen. Also they did in 13, but the games still sucked. ....Finally way to have a Advent Children Cloud rip off.

It's an action RPG. Even though i think this game looks great visually, i do wish it would remain a turn based RPG. I'm sure i'll enjoy it though, it's just a shame that turn based RPG's are getting pushed out.

An action oriented combat system is nice for a change, but I'm sure it will eventually retunr to turn based.

I like both :) But for me FF is about the compelling story, enjoyable characters, music, famous enemies (like a behemoth), summons, etc... So I don't really care, as long as those aspects are fine ;)

This game is the one I look forward to the most but the lack of decent anti-aliasing is really bothering me. I do hope it gets released on PC as well for this reason. Infamous SS, Watch Dogs, and other open world games have managed to do great (or at least decent) anti-aliasing on new-gen consoles, it's really important to the overall look of the game.

It's like they completely took out the medieval / steam punk elements that made final fantasy what it was.

For me, this game looks like "J-Pop stars riding around in their cars - The game" ...

While it mae end up being a good game, I really laugh at people who say it's "Going back to FFs roots" ... No, it's not, not at all.

And no, FF VII is NOT FF's roots.
