Take a Tour of Dying Light's Old Town - IGN First

IGN - Today we head to pastures new and explore a relatively unseen area in Dying Light: the Old Town. In the video above, lead game designer Maciej Binkowski guides through this distinctive new area of Dying Light's world.

The architecture's very different from the slums, the area we've so far seen the most of, and this affects how you navigate your environment. It's much more vertical, providing greater protection but also a greater challenge to scale. By the time you reach this area, you'll have hours of gameplay under your belt, so the area is designed to pose a new challenge.

Looks very smooth. Liked that the big zombie and the small ones fighted. Cant wait for this game and explore. Looks like you could almost enter every building too.

Looking good. Great gameplay possibilities and the visuals are really nice too.

Although I can't still shake the filling of it being just like Dead Island, it certainly looks and feels like what Dead Island was supposed to be.

Well the game originally started out as a Dead Island game but it had a bunch of new stuff in it so they decided to give it a new name

Dannycr3424d ago

Yeah I know, but the problem is that there is Dead Island 2 coming. I don't really think I will be getting 2 games which are basically the same.

I'm liking Dying Light a bit more than what I've seen from DI2

For the sake of spoilers I'm not watching the video. Some footage I saw earlier though looks promising and I might just get this game after all
