PlayStation 'Days of Play' Promotion Coming Soon, May Coincide With Showcase

Sony is reportedly set to hold its annual PlayStation Days of Play promotion for 2024 starting next Wednesday, coinciding with a Showcase.

Since the rebranding of PS Now, Sony no longer allows PSN to be sold via gift card. The only way to subscribe is through Sony.

I usually resub every year during the June sale. I'm up next month. If they restrict it to new subs only this time (like they did for Black Friday), I will downgrade from Premium to Basic. I'm already overwhelmed with games as it is, having claimed every free game since 2010! 👀

I only sub to Premium bc of the discount every year, but I don't use it enough to justify full price.

How exactly does one stack membership? Mine is on auto. Can someone elaborate?

You buy multiple years' membership cards at the sale price. I even think you could just keep buying it digitally too and it would change your "renew" date.

So, with autorenew, you basically could add a year for $35 (black Friday 2021) and it wouldn't charge you on your renewal date.

I have auto, but I always buy it on sale so I end up with a few extra months.

It sounds like some of the comments are saying the sales are only for new subs now.

I doubt there will be game announcements based on what Sony announced. This will likely be a business event as per what was said.

They had their corporate strategy meeting today. They barely even mentioned the gaming section. They sound serious about VR though. No mention of PC day and date. Anyway, I hope they announce the showcase like today lol
