The Classics #1: Nostalgia with Crash Team Racing

Crash Bandicoot and his co. racers graces today’s Classics Weekend – Crash Team Racing. Having decided to boot it up yesterday, it drew inspiration for today as it’s been nearly 13 years since it’s release back in late 1999. Yup, a whole 13 years! Memories all came rushing back with familiar tracks, blocky graphics and downright outrageous fun back in the day. (Crash Team Racing, Retro)

I loved this game all too much. best karting game ever. Hiding TNT/nitro flasks/crates behind goodie crates. Good times. The other Crash karting games don't even compare.

Yeap, starting up the game made me realise how great this rare gem was, with amples of fun regardless of it's polygon graphics. The game was undeniably fun, something lacking in modern day racers. Sometimes, games just shouldn't be realistic, takes the fun out of it

I've tried Modnation Racers and couldn't stand the physics when jumping or boosting because it felt on rails.
I really hope that LBP Karting gets rid of those annoying limiting physics and goes more CTR or Sony will never have another good karting game because United Front let me down last time.
