EA's SSX snowboarding franchise has been absent in recent years despite the high demand of another title from gamers. Finally, EA have answered the pleads and dropped SSX for PS3 and Xbox 360, and it's good.
I have to say I bought this on sale from amazon for $40 (new) and I'm really enjoying much more than I thought. I've even added a few friends to the PSN list for new SSX rivals to race against. My only disappointment was that I can't to head-to-head races easily. I wish they had a lobby system like many other racing games for some of the online things. I like the Explore and Global Event modes, but I wish I could set up some real time races with friends instead of having to coordinate to jump from the heli simultaneously over the phone/mic.
Totally agree - a way to set up local races with friends with ease, would've solved a lot of problems.
