Past it's prime? Nah, I disagree. :P

Even when I disagree with Zero Punctuation I still find myself chuckling.

Great review lol. Definitely much better than his Uncharted 2 review, unlike that one, he actually pointed out some of the flaws within Uncharted 3 in this.
Although I will admit, I think the penis joke mid-way through the video was kinda unnecessary. It was a bit beneath his level of comedy.

I like knob jokes, its a British thing.
LarVanian  +   1353d ago
I know that perfectly well from growing up in Ireland (where penis jokes are also quite popular) and from living in Lancashire. I still don't see what the need for it was in this video.
I'm also quite sure that Yahztee would consider himself Australian rather than British :).
ArronC07  +   1353d ago
Yeah that's why he moans about the fact that all the bad guys are British, if he didn't consider himself to be British why would it matter?
LarVanian  +   1353d ago
Maybe because he is just annoyed at the fact that Drake hasn't fought any American villains yet.
He also made fun of the fact that Drake fought mostly South Americans and Asians in Uncharted 1 and eastern Europeans in Uncharted 2.
ArronC07  +   1353d ago
Even if he does now describe himself as Australian he was born and raised in Britain, he's going to have that influence upon him. He wouldn't suddenly become just like an Aussie upon receipt of his residency permit.

Geez.
LarVanian  +   1353d ago
Sorry, forgive me for my ignorance. I was unaware that Yahtzee was originally from Britain. See I don't really know that much about his personal life, I just watch his reviews.
But still, if you watched the video you would clearly see that he is annoyed at the fact that Drake, an American, has not fought any American bad guys yet. I made that almost perfectly clear in my previous post, but you didn't seem to reply to that for some reason.

this guys still old and is passed his prime about like he thinks uncharted is. Ill agree with him about things breaking when he jumps on them or lands on them. I felt they used that a tad too many times.

There was a time when i thought he was funny (about 2 years ago)...now i think he tries too hard.
NarooN  +   1353d ago
I don't see how he's trying too hard. He still has the same style as he had when he first started. You're probably getting bored of his style and humor, but that doesn't mean he's suddenly "trying too hard".

He makes a good point about the NPCs in the pub at the beginning. They do all look the same.
Grodd  +   1353d ago
He was funny a few years ago but now I find him annoying.
