Gamer's Hell: Rage Review

I think id fans will lap this game because it oozes the same feeling from their previous games from glimpses.

I'm glad to see all that John Carmack praise paid off in the end. Tsk tsk tsk. The textures in this game disappear so often you could go as far as to say Rage only runs at 60 frames per second because it has no textures. So much for 5 years, eh Carmack? 10 hour campaign of no textures, last generation ragdoll physics, and sub-HD goodness.

yes it isnt a 9/10 game but a 5/10 is too much

its a solid 8/10 for me

Another site begging for hits, this game is an 8 - 9 in my opinion and I've played many games good and bad. I have 25+ years of gaming dating back to my Atari 2600 as a kid; probably more experience then these so called "expert reviewers". If you don't like a game because its not your type of game then don't bash it instead rate it for its merits and what it has to offer and in this case it might not be anything original it still does many things well and looks good at it also!

I think the reviewer didn't pass elementary math. How do you give a game an "overall" of 5.0 when the various components of the score are all higher than 5.0, but one?

Still, it says something that id waited to allow reviews to show up when they did. That at the very least they were concerned about reaction to the PC version.
