The $99.99 price point on Sony’s new head set may have you somewhat hesitant to jump on board. With the average gaming headset going for $299, I, too, was a bit reluctant to make the purchase. Having owned a few Turtle Beach sets in the past, I went ahead and made the jump for the sleek design.
100/100
Say what!? I think you mean average 7.1 headset.
For $99 this headset seems incredibly worthy of anyones money. I'd pick it up instantly if I had a PS3 and didn't already have a headset.
So far i'm really enjoying mine, it's my first gaming headset and it's great for an immersive experience.
If lucky enough have SACD capable ps3 then your in for a treat.
My stack of 96khz dual discs and SACD's sound great.
Its really the sound quality that matters and that still shines thru with the headset.
