Comparision Uncharted 3: Yemen's map - real life

Naughty Dog again shows that working hard in their games. Yemen's multiplayer map shows that the resemblance to real life is great. By: Joanastic

The story is too old to be commented.

Agreed. I have to admit uncharted 3's art style makes the real thing look dull.

I wonder how much better it will look during single-player, since MP maps are usually simplified versions.

Reminds me of this:

Considering Uncharted's stylized nature, it's NOT supposed to replicate real-life. But it sure does a good job of capturing the look/design and atmosphere for each different area you go to in the game.

A pic.. Really? where is the article! How in the f*ck did this sh*t get approved? Ahhhh... so much fail, way too much for one person to handle, in fact..

*shakes head coupled with slow facepalm*

Nice though, UC3's Yemen looks alot like it's real counterpart, which is good, I guess.

I only wonder how Assassin's Creed Revelations and its past games would've looked had the graphics been given this level of attention, or had it stayed a PS3 exclusive.

Oh well, still getting both games, love both of the middle eastern settings

here we go again with the ps3fanboy thinking the almighty cell/rsx is a generation ahead of the 360.

I don't think he's being a fanboy, what he says makes sense. The AC games would have looked awesome with this much attention to detail (not that they are any ugly at the moment, for reasonably-open-world games I think they look great). And exclusives get in most cases better graphics than mulitplats. Just imagine if most multiplat games had as good graphics as the exclusives (Not all devs has the budget to do so though), then we would be at the highest peak of this gen.

There's still far too much bleeding when it comes to lighting in games. Bloom is always excessive.

Artistically, I would say it looks very good.
Realistically, I would say it doesn't even come close.
