"For the most part Duke remains true to the character we fell in love with in the 90′s. He’s a gun-toting, alien bashing, movie quoting, ego maniacal, womanizing parody of an 80′s action hero. I hear people pissing and moaning about this and I’m forced to wonder “exactly what did you expect?” This is Duke Nukem, he doesn’t have depth of character or motivation outside of drinking beer, smoking cigars, killing aliens, and nailing chicks. That’s who Duke is, and that simplicity of character is what makes him the King. "
