NowGamer attended an E3 Konami VIP event today, where Kojima Productions revealed that it would love to make Metal Gear Solid 2 on 3DS, but only if fan demand is high enough, as well as another iconic Konami franchise.

well they did say they planned on bringing the series over which would explain why they decided to do MGS3 first since that one is the 1st game in the series
i would prefer they do it in order though MGS2 was my least favorite
