Valkyria Chronicles 3 confirmed for TGS

Scrawl: "Uh-oh. Looks like Sega’s gone and confirmed Valkyria Chronicles 3 before they could even make the announcement. Currently, an image in GIF format of a show schedule found on Sega’s TGS website reads a few of the company’s presentations as “Coming Soon”. However, changing the extension from GIF to JPG reveals just what those presentations are. If you hadn’t already guessed, it’s Valyria Chronicles 3.'

Sega is pretty fast whipping out Yakuza's and Valkyria Chronicles for the PS3 and PSP. Hopefully the quality of the titles doesn't suffer..

Yeah, Yakuza is kind of like Japan's Call of Duty. A new one every year and always a good seller. But I think so far the quality has been very good.

besides japan will have a ton of extra copies left over on 360, as almost noone has the console over there, and U.S. will have a ton of 360 copies left over over here that cant sell because 360 fans dont like this type of game

with the popularity of the psp in japan, and the much lower cost of making a psp game as opposed to a ps3 game, that VC2 on psp was a no brainer. and mandatory install is right, being such a niche game, im sure that sales werent exactly through the roof

Thing is, most people play Yakuza for the story.

It's like Shemue. Gameplay sucks bullocks, but the story and cinematics was the main selling point.

But yea, I'm boning over the thought of Valkyria Chronicles 3.

Please ditch the anime high school bullshit. Valkyria Chronicles, even though the characters were still young, still had a very serious tone over all of it. VC2...was dumb.

And gameplay will be awesome as always. :)

I have an idea for this game. The downed enemies can be a karma system. Walk up to them to save them and take them prisoner or leave them to bleed out on the battlefield. And rescuing someone costs a certain number of CP.

A suitable way to have multiple endings for it I'd say.
