Until Dawns length made it better imho. But I guess now most people have an attention span of a goldfish and want 2-4 hour experiences, but I rather get more value for my money like in Until Dawn.
I played Until Dawn with my wife and it took 9-10 hours spread out on a saturday and sunday and it was the perfect length for us.Taking that break midgame just made us talk about all the decisions we made so far and how we wanted to save more people on the last half of the game.
I replayed the game twice after that (took around 6 hours each when I knew the story) to get all trophies and the platinum. I replayed it a few weeks back just because I love the story and I hope they abandon this short story crap and makes a proper Until Dawn 2 for the PS5. That would be day one for me and my wife for sure.

Length doesn't matter that much. Until dawn is better than MoM. I hope the next episodes will be better.

Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me Review - DASHGAMER

Dan Rizzo says "The Devil in Me is a fine conclusion to The Dark Pictures’ first season. From the blood curdling sensations met upon orientation at H.H. Holmes odd tribute hotel, to the psychotic nature that begins to break down between its cast of characters and the events that unfold in front of them, it’s honestly the most emotionally jarring and horrific chapters I’ve experienced in gaming."
