New PS3 Model CECH-4301x Certified by the FCC; First Differences With Old Superslim Found

A couple weeks ago DualShockers reported about the discovery of a new PS3 model with the code CECH-4306CH certified by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. The Japanese version of that model, coded CECH-4301x (where the x is a placeholder for the hard disk size code) has been recently certified by the Federal Communications Commission, and the documentation provided brought the first differences under the spotlight.

You never read an article before commenting, do you?

Relientk773619d ago

It impresses me on how many N4G articles he comments on. And when I say how many I mean all of them.

Hellsvacancy3619d ago

Just be grateful he's only got one bubble

djplonker3619d ago

calling what he says commenting is a stretch.... he just repeats the title and adds "awesome" or something similarly stupid and vague!

Ridiculing a person whose English might not be his/her first language is just really harsh. Guy wants to be apart of the community but the jerks around here make me wish he would just leave and save his breath.

MegaRay3619d ago

He got no time for that. Have you seen madara's power yet :P

saladthieves3619d ago

@Hellsvacancy
He has one bubble, yet his presence is quite ubiquitous.

He LITERALLY lives on this site.

Um...yeah...no. His account is fluff and I've seen him make perfectly worded comments. He does this on purpose and just to increase his post count. 90% of the stuff he says is "oh ok cool :)". Just fluff. Garbage.

It's no smaller, the measurements of the new model (290x60x230mm) are exactly the same as the slim.

Abriael3619d ago (Edited 3619d ago )

More than that (a redesign could have the same measurements after all), the number is telling. An ultra-slim would be CECH-5001 not CECH-4301

How is you always be the first to comment before anyone else?

saladthieves3619d ago

He trolls around in the pending articles section and comments on them the moment they're posted.

Software_Lover3619d ago

Oh well, I was hoping for a super super slim. That would've been nice. I cant wait for the smaller ps4/Xbones to come out. If they do.

Looks like remoteplay might get a boost from newer & better radios.
Ditto for the Dual Shock 4, who can say no to more peak gain.

Games That Were Bad on Release, But Are Now Great

BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.

Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."

Good list..hoped to see Street Fighter 5 there..and it is.

Vits20h ago(Edited 20h ago)

Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.

darthv7219h ago

Several years ago, i submitted an idea to Rare that would change up the mechanics of battling opponents in the game. whereby if you died in battle, you turned into a skeleton warrior and had to fight your way back to the land of the living. It was an interesting twist on respawning and would allow the player to experience both sides of a battle.

I keep hoping to see something like that get added to the game.

They consider FO 76 & ME Andromeda to be great now 🤭

Every game in the last 2 decades...

INMATEofARKHAM14h ago

It's sad that this quick retort is more often than not true... The industry's acceptance of release and patch has gone too far.

gunnerforlife3h ago

Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.

They aren't going to give more. We are talking about a company that has rereleased an 13 year old game at least 5 times.
