Media: WiiWare Dr. Mario Videos are In
No doubt, Dr. Mario Virus Buster is one of the more curious entries in Nintendo’s opening volley of WiiWare titles, as it has such strong roots in a game so many are familiar with.
It looks like it’s more than a straight-up remake, however, and more has been done than simply adding Miis. Though their shove-of-war with the horde of viruses is entertaining, this first video reveals a new control scheme in play. A little shakier, it seems to imply a more direct interaction with the pills from the player as the Wii Remote’s cursor is used to guide them into place, sometimes with more than one ready to fall at a time!
