Indie Website vs. Indie Developer

Recently an Indie Games Developer who shall remain nameless saw red after reading negative comments about his game online from a writer who also wrote for an Indie Games website and decided to track him down to unleash hell onto the sites editor.

The developer in question made a ridiculous claim that established writers at popular sites never express negative opinions in public forums outside of their professional roles because there would be repercussions. whilst also making a shaky supposition on what would happen if Shigeru Miyamoto criticised another developer’s games off the clock.
