Radeon HD 7990 final specifications and launch date revealed

After much speculation, one that should be the final version of the Radeon HD 7000 had revealed settings. The new 7990 is a dual-GPU, with the tough task of competing with the Nvidia Geforce GTX 690. The plate will be sold from April 25 priced at around U.S. $ 1000.

The Radeon HD 7990 will have two Tahiti XT GPUs, clocked to 1 GHz speed reached by the rough work of a total of 4096 Stream Processors (think of these as Stream Processors individual processing cores). In addition, the board will have 6 GB of GDDR5 RAM memory accessed through a 384-bit interface (768 if you add up the value of each GPU).

Again nice card, but you might as well wait for the 9000 series or UHD 1000 series which should be a fairly decent leap over the 7000 series (9000 series), or a substantial leap with possible DX 13 features (for the UHD 1000 series).
