Pikmin sold like one million on gamecube and under one million on wii lol amazing how much hype fans are putting on this game that isnt a system seller by no means. I never knew ppl wanted pikimin so much until i came to this site because numbers def. speak a diff tune.

But yeah Pikmin does look cool.

What's your point? The first 2 Pikmin games, no matter how much (or how little) they sold, were still superb games, with excellent critical reception from everyday gamers to critics alike. It's that pedigree what makes gamers excited to play Pikmin 3 on Wii U, not its sales history.

I'm almost afraid to break cover and admit this on this site because there is a lot of love for Pikmin... I played both Pikmin games for the Wii with the "New play control" and just wasn't wowed by it at all so I'm just not that excited by the thought of another. Now, The Wonderful 101 on the other hand, which appears to share some Pikmin DNA really has my interest.

... Now let the avalanche of "disagrees" begin! :/

I can't disagree, if you didn't like it that's ok. I personally really like the real time strategy and puzzler elements, there just aren't many games in the genre on console machines. RTS have always been my favorite type of games so I am excited for it.

Just so you know, even if you get a ton of disagrees (so far, you haven't) it isn't a bad thing. A disagree is exactly that, someone DISAGREEING with you. So, that would only mean that many people think otherwise, as in, they love the Pikmin games where you don't.

A bunch of disagrees over a comment 100% based on opinion isn't bad at all. When you get a ton of disagrees for stating a FACT, though, it's another matter... what's really bad is when some haters or trolls try to bubble down a perfectly reasonable and well said argument.

Carry on! :D

Your name is lovegames718 but you seem more worried about sales and trolling random Nintendo articles. Very strange.

Are they gonnna announce any new games?
Rockefellow  +   790d ago
Unreleased... not unannounced. The only people who should be excited about this are those who are attending. As for me? I'll be freezing up in Michigan, where game conventions never venture.
