Hey! Listen - "Main Theme" (Mafia II)

The piece is simply titled “Main Theme” and was composed by Matus Siroky, Adam Kuruc and the FILMharmonic orchestra in Prague. It can be found in the game’s main title screen. What starts off as a gentle piano piece is quickly given a faster tempo by a rising violin piece, and before long a soaring sense of ambition and discovery is presented by a beautiful orchestral ensemble. It actually feels like quite a hopeful and feel-good piece during that segment, only for the track to soon sink into a more melancholy state for the finale. (Mafia 2, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
