Why Ubisoft's Osiris is an Assassin's Creed Game Set in Egypt

GameVerb reports that Ubisoft has already announced their new next-generation game called Watch Dogs and it is unlikely that "Osiris" is a new IP. So, how likely is it we'll see yet another new IP from Ubisoft coming to current-gen and next-generation consoles? Originally thought to be a reboot of Prince of Persia, it appears now it is more likely a new Assassin's Creed game called "Assassin's Creed: Osiris."

Gamespot reported in June of 2010 that Ubisoft Workshop posted an image "bearing the initials AC on it and a protagonist dressed up in an Egyptian variant of the standard assassin's garb, including a white head covering and a concealed--and blood-soaked--knife protruding from the character's right sleeve."

It would be an amazing setting for that kind of game but in terms of gameplay the Assassin's creed series is so fundamentally broken they'd have to completely overhaul everything from the fighting to the stealth (like actually having some kind of stealth system) to get my dirty money.
