10 Thoughts on… the Dead Space 3 Demo

DHGF - So EA put up a demo of Dead Space 3 this week, and anyone who’s been following along to any extent with my work (is there anyone that bored?) pretty much knew this was coming. “Fan” would probably be a bit much of a stretch, but the franchise has its appeal, especially since Resident Evil has gone in an almost entirely action-based direction at this point.

God I just keep looking at John Carver and see how generic he looks....it's off putting if they were going to do co-op why not just have Ellie with you but make it so she dosen't have armor on and you have to protect her more....then when you come to Game 2 you can play as Ellie which will be harder because you won't have any armor on

Why have they made this franchise generic and a full blown action game. It pains me to see they didn't learn from Capcoms mistake.

Could always just not play it and forget about it.
This is not at all a Capcom-like mistake. When it turns into an FPS, Issac is turned into a teenager and starts drop kicking, DDT-ing and suplexing Necromorphs...THEN its a Capcom-like mistake.

and who the hell wants to babysit in co-op? Yea, everyone would openly volunteer to be Ellie everytime because its more of a challenge and u'd have to have player one protecting you at all times right? *sarcasm*
