Is The Game Doing That Well?

"Welcome back JRPG"

VsAssassin1312d ago

I believe so, yeah! I hope this sends out a message to Square Enix that they don't need to hug the Western culture and showcase it in their FF games to gain sales. Western games should be what they are, and Asian JRPGs are what they should be. there are things that should not change drastically just for it to survive.

Welcome back? Persona and SMT have been holding the fort for some time. However, it's good to see another JRPG do well in the West. We need more!

At least i got a email saying mine was shipped. Lucky me. Wished i could have played it this week though.

It's cool that this is actually a real limited edition game, most 'limited' edition games are far from limited. It sucks I was not able to secure a limited copy of Ni no Kuni :(

I ordered mine like a half year ago. I didnt know it will be that popular...

well the regular edition is sold out at Amazon.com. Usually ships in 1-3 weeks. There's one seller who has it listed for $60.93 + $9.76 shipping atm... Hoping to crack my copy open Sat night after work or Sunday night after work which begins my weekend. Even the Strategy Guide was sold out Day 1.

Not even sure I was really in the mood the devote so much time to an RPG but it's been so long since we saw a great RPG, rather JRPG released. This either shows how poorly prepared Namco Bandai was or just how starved the RPG community has been and the faith they have that Ni No is an instant Classic. Makes me wish I could take a couple sick days this weekend and start playing.

Starved is an understatement.
