The development team behind the recent serious Sly or inFamous, Sucker Punch, has declared himself very satisfied with the working relationship we have with Sony, and therefore do not rule develop in the near future the third installment of its successful series of games inFamous action.
"We'll see where we go next," says the study's co-founder, Bruce Oberg, the average British Eurogamer when asked about the possibility of creating inFamous 3. "We have a great relationship with them [Sony] and adore the PlayStation platform. Not lying when I say that for us is a killer technology platform to work with. "Moreover, he continues," the media, marketing, and also the approach, allowing us to make the game we want to do is really incredible. "
Do not forget either that the license Sony inFamous rests not on its creators, who have stated that it was "a small price to pay" for the "freedom to make the game you want."

While it might not have an insane number of sales, you have to factor in freebies too. inFAMOUS was offered as part of Welcome Back in the US and Europe too (I think EU anyway), plus inFAMOUS 2 has been part of US / Europe Plus since E3 (thats 6 / 7 months!). So I find it hard to believe the series is really "underrated" when most people are making a choice not to play them. (lets be fair here, Sony has been pushing Plus for a while now and many people have access to friends accounts, so a good percent of people have had access to at least 1 of these games for free for some period of time.)
inFamous 1 & 2 are my only platinum-ed games. Great fun.
Or Vita + PS3, Or Vita + PS4 :)

What sucks is them not keeping the original voice actor and character design of the first game
Graphics, gameplay, and the story itself. Plus the characters were a lot better to.
Still one of my favorite games of all time due solely to its 'fun factor'.
The graphics were of course better, the story tho? not at all not even the endings. The twists in the first one made the story a lot better, the boss at the end, there was many more nice cutscenes which the 2nd was lacking. I like the new powers tho but it was maybe a bit too much and the 2 characters which gives the new abilities were lame.
Im not saying it was a bad game because I am a fan of this IP, I just didnt have the great feeling like when I have played the first 1.
Your name says it all my friend. inFamous is definitely one of the better ip's to come out this gen. I for one can not wait for the next installment.
Climbing is not advanced? There aren't a lot of games where you can climb almost anything maybe aside from the Assassin's Creed games.
Dialogue is cheesy? I didn't see anything wrong with it. It sounds realistic enough to me and you can definitely see the personalities in the characters.
As for the people that are ill and laying on the street they're like that for a reason. Remember the explosion that killed thousands and made others sick?
They don't do many activities except for getting ill and drive because they're normal people. What did you expect them to do? Have powers like Cole?

I'm sorry but that couch scene in 2 was just perfect. Perfect characterization between two guys.
Climbing is super easy, just smash the X button and you will never fail, the animations are average too. The climbing is not as advanced as Uncharted for example.
And when I said characters I mean the minor ones. Play Red Dead Redemption and you will see what I mean.
I remember the explosion but cmon the characters do like 3 activities. And there isn't a lot of interaction.

I disagree. I doubt the budget for this game exceeds that of Uncharted and that game was made with only 20 million dollars. If anything, it's received extremely well as a new IP franchise this gen.
The inFAMOUS games don't seem very expensive to make, they may not sell blockbuster numbers like Gran Turismo or God of War but it's obviously making money for Sony otherwise they wouldn't have bought the studio.

Sucker punch needs to find a way to make Infamous a Exclusive that gamers wanna buy and not just RENT!
I say add more RPG elements to it to go along with the Huge sandbox and fast pace action.

Cole is just a really cool super hero (unless you're evil).

The start of the game is a really good set up for a movie, where Cole's just delivering that package doing his day job then BOOM!
Cole coming to terms with his new powers and some funny banter with Zeke, the fight with Sasha, Zeke betraying Cole with the Ray Sphere, fight with Kessler, Trish's death, oh man it would make an awesome movie. It could end with the Beast turning up too ready for the sequel.

I would have preferred they put that in the game because people that jump from InFanoys to InFamous 2 will be left wondering why all past ties are no longer discussed
However 2 was no slouch.
I am currently at the end of my 1st playthrough on hard.
And I am interested in buying inFamous 3 as soon as possible! :)
Sucker Punch why don't you try whit an RPG ?
Considering the ending of the second game and how much they have already changed Cole, a new main character could be good for the series.
After playing Gravity Rush and AC Liberation, I could only think of the possibilities of a new Infamous.
As far as RPG mechanics go, sure make a huge arrangement of different powers available. But their games are far to action oriented to be purely "RPG".
And really, with an RPG from them you'd probably be underwhelmed, and I'd probably be upset.
That's a shame. I've never played an Infamous game but I've always liked the look of them. To look on the bright side I suppose I could pick them both up really cheap now and have some fun.
Seeing as Microsoft have no intentions of making a good Crackdown game anytime soon, and Prototype isn't that good IMO, I'd be very pleased at another Infamous announcement. Awesome Graphics and Gameplay made me feel like a badass, not many games can do that. Plus...next-gen particle effects will be amazing.
i hope they improve Coles evade move a bit by adding invincibility frames because its kind of a weak evade
It's not practical to create a game based on each of the two completely different endings, that would be too much work, it would really be two different games. So the only option if they want to continue with the same characters is to pick one ending and go with it. Or they just introduce new characters in the same universe, though even that is difficult since the world is fundamentally different in the two endings.

Infamous 2 is great. better AI , graphics and User Generated Content make for near infinite replay value.
Infamous 3 would be a great choice for PS4.
Either way we all know they're working on something.

See COD, assassins creed, Mario,madden, any other franchise with a number after it.
If it sells sequels will be made. I would rather have them wait until ps4 to release another infamous game however these guys would make a great superhero game. (Spider-Man/dc universe))
They could go and make a game like d.c universe in a sandbox world without the mmo style play and it would be a totally different experience.

abillity to start a civil war anti heros vs hero supporters
abillity to power up air planes with electricity and fly them with you on top of it.
Like say you start off with the classic electricity ability but shoot someone out of the sky who is flying and extract their ability so now you can both fly and shoot electricity.
