I don't know if it's in the article (I don't give examiner hits any more...) but Episode 1 of TWD is free on XBL. It was free on PSN a while ago, but not sure if it still is.
It is a GREAT GAME! Its called its DIFFERENT. It's not the same thing over and over again. I like that its something different then everything else out there.
@isyourhouseonfire, I agree completely! This game is s**t. This game is waaaaay overrated. Also, Journey. For sites to name games like these game of the year; wonder why others outside gaming don't take video games seriously.
Great deal! No brainer if you haven't played it yet. Wonder why it's only got a 500gs on XBLA when it's a full platinum (1000+) on PSN? To keep it out of the Games on Demand category? It's still a retail disc though...
I don't think Platinum is the equivalent to 1000GS on 360, it just means that you have all the other trophies so you get the Platinum to signify that... I think.
Trophies have 'point' values too, it all adds into your Level and percentage on your profile. Like where it says Level 15 73% or whatever. A gold is worth way more points to your level than a bronze, hence why the gold trophies are usually the hardest/most rare. 100gs territory. There are like 5-6 Gold trophies for Walking Dead on PS3 and several silvers, which far exceeds the 500gs on the 360 version.
As such, only retail games (or the rare PSN release like WipEout HD/Killzone HD) get a platinum set. Since Walking Dead qualifies as a retail disc though, I was just wondering why they didn't give it the full 1000gs on 360?
Aw well, it happens both ways. RE4 got 1000gs on XBLA when it went under Games on Demand, but on PSN it only has like a 200gs trophy set. *shrugs*
Wow this is a great deal for a great game! For those that don't know the first episode is free, and each of the other episodes are 50% off, totaling the entire game to just 10 dollars!
