Hey, Journey ultimately took home far more awards than Max Payne 3 did. MP3, though, was fantastic.

Max Payne is a pretty good game. I personally do not think AC3 should be on this list. Journey should also be on this list

Crap ! Far cry 3 is not even nominated. its best game iv played this year.I think they dont even know ubisoft released far cry 3 !

A lot of these websites have a cut of time criteria which usually means games released around now get missed off the list (I know the VGA's is quite early). Its silly because you would think Game of the Year would look at the year as a whole (i.e should be announced in January)

Our votes were cast before Far Cry 3's release. Which is unfortunate, since it had a real shot at best graphics and best shooter—more so than Black Ops II, if you ask me.
