Far Cry 3 Review | EGM

Brandon Justice writes: As protagonists go, it’s easy to dislike Jason Brody. Arrogant, aimless, and a touch too sarcastic for his own good, he’s the perfect poster child for the ills of American entitlement. But as much as I found myself wanting to pimp-slap the kid back to reality, the first few hours of Ubisoft Montreal’s Far Cry 3 made it readily apparent that I’d need to get in line. The game quickly makes a habit of leveling a maelstrom of malicious circumstances at, around, or inside Brody in a ways that genuinely change him—and my perception along with it.

The story is too old to be commented.

Game is looking good. Coming out of the box strong. Really liked FC2 minus it's few faults. Glad to see they have perfected their brand. Going to get this for sure.

People are only hyping off this game due to a quote they think the game created.

They 'THINK' the game created...

yeah your prob right, the engaging story/characters all the reviewers are writing about, gorgeous visuals, open world with tons to do, variety in the game play, etc all have nothing to do with it.

It does look gorgeous. It screams far cry.

That's all i really feel about it now.

The multiplayer that was shown off some months ago looked Bo'Ring.

i agree about the mp. i wouldnt say boring but nothing special. def wont stop you from playing halo, battlefield, or COD but few games will. this game is all about the sp, at least in my opinion

i will give the map editor a spin though, perhaps some wicked maps from the community will be enough to draw us into it
