How cheaters cheat: boosting

Boosting is using illegitimate means in online multiplayer to receive tons of easy XP, effortless killstreaks, or to increase your level quickly. It is perhaps the most pointless method of cheating ever. (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Culture, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4)
