So much hatred and close minded thinking here from some of the comments for a such great trilogy. Not rocket science folks, don't buy it if you don't want it or have it.

For those who don't have it, or discs got lost/stolen or sold off, its a great collection. Food for thought of the day: not everyone is exactly like you. There are others out there living in a different situation. It's crazy I know!

Hatred? More like common sense. $60 for this trilogy set, which is $20 per game. You can get each game separately on Amazon for less than that.

Actually the trilogy comes with dl content and box artwork. A lot of people don't use Amazon and would prefer in person purchases at a physical store.

Your comment is so boring and generic. ME1 had shite combat which more than balances the great narrative. ME3 was abysmal? Even if you hated the ending the rest of the game was great. If you think one of the goty is abysmal id love to know what you'd have thought of 80% of Amiga games 20 years ago.

This industry is still evolving and growing up. Mass Effect didn't quite deliver but it'll be an important trilogy when we look back for save exporting and mature storytelling. Its not perfect but then what game is Other than Deus Ex?

Sorry your feelings were hurt over an opinion.

Mass Effect 2 was inferior in story and RPG elements and I enjoyed the first alot more in terms of story despite its performance issues (which I had none personally) and just because the shooting system was not up to typical shooter standards it was unfairly judged as a shooter when it was an RPG first and foremost.

I felt it was more important Mass Effect retained its RPG elements instead of optimising the shooting experience (its beyond me why both could not be achieved) but that is just an opinion.

i felt mass 1 and 2 were effing great!!!!

3 left something to be desired
which really stinks because it should have been epic above the first 2.

waiting the superior version which is ofc on ps3 since ME1 IS THE ONLY version that use kitS of ME2-3 unlike MS-PC which are the same games frm back then
