GameFob: Dishonored Review

GameFob: “Nah, f— that noise.” Those words escaped my mouth about 5 minutes into Dishonored, Arkane Studios’ Bioshock-esque take on the first person action genre. I was immediately sucked in. After re9.5turning home from a lengthy diplomatic mission, Corvo, the protagonist, is framed for the murder of the empress he is sworn to protect. There are plenty of games that begin in a similar fashion and tell you that your mission is to clear your name and find the real killer, but there are few that can really make you feel the rage you are intended to feel, and even fewer that make you feel as though you are truly a resident of the game’s world. (Dishonored, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 9.5/10
