Brodie Gibbons: "It's no secret that I loathed the first vault hunting extravaganza that swept everybody up so. It was repetitive whilst being aimless and left me largely unsatisfied on many occasions-I mean it took me well over a year to even finish it. It's safe to say I didn't see the appeal, nor will I ever understand why the original Borderlands sold gangbusters.
I'm glad it did, though. If it didn't, we might not have been gifted with its sequel, one of the year's wittiest and most fleshed out games. It's so full of nods to pop culture and things to do, it still took me a week to knock off; that's despite playing it every free moment I had."
