this is a joke. why not come out with all of them together? i'm not gonna spend $80 for what should be included in one package. guess i'll wait for the individual titles to be released on the PS Store. I only really want 1 + 2 + BBS.
@crXss: I agree with you. I can't understand why people are applauding SE for this. This is not an HD collection. This is 1 and a half games and some cutscenes for $40. Re:CHoM is NOT the game people wanted in an HD collection when they thought about a KH HD Collection. Most assumed KH1, KH2, and then maybe Birth By Sleep. Or all of the games. It's not like PS3 couldn't handle that with a dual layer Blu-Ray disc. This is just sad.
It's only been announced for Japan. Maybe the western release will get both games, otherwise Square can forget selling me a copy.
With HD collections like God of War, this kind of gimped release doesn't cut it anymore. Either pack all the major releases onto the disk (which they could do with room to spare) or make sure this sells for no more than $19.99.
Splitting the series up to try and gouge customers - Square is acting like a website that splits a simple story into 15 pages just to get more hits...

So KH 2,5 Will most likely include: KH 2 HD, Birth By Sleep HD and cutscenes from re: Coded.
So each package comes with 2 games and cutscenes and probably some information about the DS games.
I think releasing 2 collections is quite fair, God of War only had 2 games in it's collection and Shadow and Ico also had only two. Releasing four HD games + a load of cutscenes from two games would be amazing but you can't possibly expect that from SE?
I'm just happy though they could have had KH 1 and 2 in the same collection and then the others in a other one, cause this is forcing us to buy both.
Does anyone not remember that the God of War Saga just recently came out? I don't see why Square Enix just couldn't put ALL 5 games (Kingdom Hearts 1, Kingdom Hearts 2, Birth By Sleep, Re:Chain of Memories, and Re:Coded) all on one disk like Santa Monica Studios did! Seriously... :/

They'll probably release another collection of Kingdom Hearts 2, Coded, and Birth By Sleep. I dunno about Coded, though, since it's kind of different. Maybe Dream Drop Distance instead? Or maybe all 4? I dunno...

Then you'll need a PS3. It won't be on the 360 - wouldn't make sense anyway, given the history is with Nintendo and Sony and this will sell a lot in Japan.
And since they will include the "smaller" games, it seems almost certain that a KH 2.5 or something like that is in the works too, including KH2 and BBS.
Probably because it tied into KH2...you really needed to play it to understand KH2. I'm hoping when KH Remix 2.5 comes out it will include KH Dream Drop Distance
Nah man... If you're asking if the PS2 Re: Chain of Memories was bad because of the awful reviews it got, don't listen to that at all. The only reason it got those is because it used a bit of content that was from the first game. The GBA version got a lot of great reviews, and it's essentially a remake of it with voice acting and cutscenes. Not sure how that could be a bad thing. Plus the game is quite fun once you get used to the card system.
Chain of Memories had a PS2 version, and no it's not bad. It has an absolutely awesome combat system if you can get used to it. Also the story is really good. In narrative form terms I think it's one of the more interesting ones out of all the KH games.
The only thing I wasn't too keen about was the level design. It's kind of like a dungoen crawler and so it can be a bit monotonous, but you decide the contents of each room with these cards you collect, and that aspect is pretty sweet.
I doubt it will have 3D as it is still a very recent title. My guess would be KH2 Final Mix, KH BBS Final Mix and the cutscenes from KH Re:Coded in HD. So it is set up just like this release.
Still think it should of included a playable 358 days, it was on the DS years ago I think the exclusiveness has worn off, it has for Chain of Memroies.
this would be good to port on vita.. Then the next installations to follow.. PS has been getting all the attention at TGS.. Wheres the other companies announcements?

Wow, that sure is lazy of them to just skip remaking the easiest game in the kh series to remake. Like seriously all they have to do is to add pallet swap of kh 1 enemies, add weapons for models, and recreate the outer islands of never land. The rest would be copy and paste of KH 1, Chain of memories, and 2.-_-
