WC - Love the series or not, Call of Duty just seemingly won’t die. The 12 year olds on Xbox LIVE are gearing up for Black Ops 2 this year, and no doubt it will reach the insane sales levels of the past few years while simultaneously only receiving a very mixed acclaim among critics if Modern Warfare is anything to go by. That contradiction is now a COD tradition. Personally, I loved MW2 but resented Black Ops 1 and MW3, so as a now Battlefield player, let’s go over what Black Ops 2 has going for it and what Treyarch is doing so wrong.
Releasing a game annually leaves no space for creativity to appear.
And besides, David S. Goyer also wrote the story for Ghost Rider, so without Nolan, he's not much of a good writer.
This game had a lot of potential after MW, but then they had to kill all creative minds by forcing them to come up with ideas for games to be released annually.
As for IW. After playing 3 months of MW3, I can safely say that IW is dead.
