Every Game is Batman

An accurate portrayal of Batman was something of an enigma until Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Asylum in 2009. Many companies had tried, ranging from Sunsoft and Konami in the '90s to Ubisoft and EA in the 2000s, but no one really captured the idea of being Batman in any notable manner. Most of those games were 2D side-scrolling beat-'em-ups, and while some turned out to be good, they weren't so much Batman games as they were games that happened to feature Batman.

The story is too old to be commented.

I could make a similar argument claiming that every game is Tuxedo Mask, but since the development of Batman was influenced by The Phantom and Zorro you could argue that it's their legacy behind all of the games in the article, not Batman's.

Exactly. Their only argument that these games "Are Batman" relies on the fact employ stealth mechanics and gadgets, but ultimately ignores the huge set of differences. Not much of an actual point.

They should make a justice league game based on the new 52 comic.

And I just realized that comment was way off topic so... I'll agree with Tuxedo Mask. Though it be more accurate to say every game is Call of Duty.
