Atlus has opened a teaser site for Persona 3: The Movie.

This could definitely be interesting. I loved P3P, so I'm excited to see if they will choose to do a sequel to the events or take the story from the game and change it to a theatrical format.

I hope it's Yukari or Yuko, but it's not like I'll be upset whoever it is. Chances are, it'll be Aegis, though, and that wouldn't bother me at all.

P4 already got it's "Yu Narukami."

The "Minato" name was taken from Persona 3 Manga.

Persona 4 Manga has name for the MC which is called "Souji Seta."

But the recent P4 Animation & Arena has given MC's name called "Yu Narukami."

I want to know what would be his name in this movie; same with the Manga version / not.

According to the persona wiki, the MC's name is Minato. Either way, I'm hyped for this.

Arisato Minato is his official name. On my... fourth? playthrough, I named my character that.

I can see them condensing the main story beats down to movie length fairly easily actually. Whether or not that will allow enough time for the characters to be endeared to new viewers is probably the more difficult part.
