Retailer Lists Ghost Recon: Final Mission for Vita
Push Square: "Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has barely had time to settle on store shelves, but it looks like publisher Ubisoft is already gearing up for the next title in the Tom Clancy branded shooter series."
(PS Vita)
That's what I thought too. All the PSP Tom Clancy games were terrible to say the least, but maybe they can pull off some good ones. I mean really the part that made them so bad was the aiming system, but that won't be a problem with two analog sticks.
It isn't just the controls my friend. I got used to the controls by moving with the buttons and aiming with the analog(makes much more sense to me) so it wasn't as much of an issue for me. For me the problem was the depth. It was ridiculously shallow. The whole game can be beat in 3-4 hours, if you actually bothered to before shoving it aside. The PSP was totally capable of handling console quality depth. For example Syphon Filter, GOW, Ratchet + Clank, MGS:PW. Tomb Raider Anniversary and MidnightClub3 were near identical ports with some sacrifice to the graphics and I played those games to death. It's just that some devs get lazy when challenged with making a handheld exclusive title and instantly lower their standard of what makes a good game.
Very good point. I forgot how short they were. Even for a handheld 3-4 hrs is ridiculously short. If they add multiplayer, Guerrilla mode and have a SP campaign that's at least 6-8 hrs then it'll be great. I hope they put some hard work into this one.
Great news! If it has a final name already and a retailer knows it I assume the release is not that far away. Hopefuly we will see an announcement at E3 with a release date for holiday season or even sooner.
it better not be a crap handheld game. knowing UBISOFT they would do that. theres no excuse here not to make a a great handheld game look as identical to its console version.
Still keeping my fingers crossed for a GTA: San Andreas Stories.
