Capcom's reluctance in bringing Monster Hunter to the Vita has given an opportunity to a lot of other developers to fill the hunting game void.
SEGA has announced Fearless: Year of Shadow, a campaign that celebrates Sonic the Hedgehog and his brooding acquaintance, Shadow.
GamesIndustry.biz writes: "Relic is best known for the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War games, and recently developed the new Age of Empires for Microsoft. Relic will transition to an independent studio and will no-longer be part of the Sega group of studios.
The majority of the 240 job cuts are across Creative Assembly and Sega Europe, while there will be a ‘small number’ cut from Sega HARDLight. There was no mention of other Sega UK studios, including Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive."
Sega had such a turbulent existence from the mid-90s to when they dropped out of console manufacturing entirely in 2001, it’s understandable if you’ve never heard of the Genesis Nomad.

Thank god I am not a huge MH fan. Worst case scenario for me (being a Vita owner) is an exclusive Metal Gear 3ds though.
Thank you guys.Well I am a big fan of Monster hunter but these new games they look so interesting that its hard to ignore them.I think in the coming days Monster hunter is going to have some serious competition.
I played a bit of the PSO2 beta and it was quite enjoyable. I remember fighting some of the big mobs with a couple of random parties in one area. Was really fun and quite mental at the time.
Gods Eater Burst was a great game, GE2's graphics look better as well. Will definitely get that.
Soul Sacrifice looks like another game I could get into, and even Ragnarok Odyssey.
Need to get myself a Vita lol. Just spending my money or going to spend my money on other stuff. Will see if it drops in price on Boxing Day, might pick it up.
Vita is a dead system,why would anyone except Sony release anything on it?
Developing and releasing a game on vita is too risky.
