Send me a photo of you before and after look lol.

Ashlen3874d ago

Hmm, is it worth eating ground beef that's 20% sawdust to get a PS4?!?

(yes Taco Bell was forced to admit they use "meat filler" to lower costs)

xHeavYx3874d ago

I agree, I may just get the box and give the food to someone in need

PositiveEmotions3874d ago

I bubled you because you would help some one in need :)

jagstatboy3874d ago

Giving someone in need Taco Bell food is hurting them more than helping them. LOL.

Visualift3874d ago

Shredded cheese also contains sawdust (eg. cellulose)... it's the only way to keep the cheese from sticking to together in the bag. As for Taco Bell, if you wanna avoid the sawdust than avoid these:

Southwest Chicken
Caramel Apple Empanada
Corn Tortilla
Enchilada Rice
Nacho Chips
Red Strips
Strawberry Topping
Zesty Dressing

Ashlen3874d ago (Edited 3874d ago )

While I have eaten at Taco Bell since they revealed the ground beef thing. I don't really eat at Taco Bell often because we have a Del Taco near us.

The funny thing is the tacos at Del Taco use 100% ground beef and real cheese and they cost about half as much as a Taco Bell taco (less than half on Taco Tuesday).

Also when I go to Taco Bell they have 3 or 4 people working there and at Del Taco they have 4-6.

Basically, I don't get why they have to use meat filler in the first place.

OldGirl3874d ago (Edited 3874d ago )

Almost all packaged meats in America contain high levels of fillers. The FDA is to blame because they do not care about regulation only about making money, while other countries have strict regulations on just that and require people who package their meats to actually list the amount of fillers in them before people buy them.

If you think Taco bell is bad, that isn't the half of it. Tons of food, probably other foods you have even eaten contained fillers just as bad if not worse.

Also some people just gotta eat what they can afford and quality food isn't necessarily the cheapest and unfortunately the FDA doesn't care enough to make regulations any better for people who are buying cheaper foods.

medman3874d ago

Meat filler and whatever the slags scrape off the floor.

Didn't they do this exact promotion for the Nintendo Wii U... Except no one got a Wii U! The winners where conned and lied to so they never received.

FunAndGun3874d ago

Yeah, there was a fiasco with the Vita giveaway from Taco Bell also.

I guess they gave out to many "winner" notifications and a lot of them never received anything.

Ninja_G_Aidan3873d ago

Yes, that's the main one I remember! You're absolutely right. Nobody did get a Vita from those conning b*stards!

OldGirl3873d ago (Edited 3873d ago )

That was not Taco Bell, it was Burger King you're thinking of. *face palm*

The Vita was Taco Bell and some people did actually win one and receive theirs. Me and a friend of mine actually did that promotion and although I did not win, he won one and actually got it shortly after. I know others that actually got theirs as well, even some people on the PS blog for the PS4 promo, even got a Vita from the last one.

I know there were problems and I also knew people who won that didn't get anything. I think the system was handing out too many winner notifications to people who didn't actually win.

Whether you want to believe it or not people did get them.

I don't know how the Burger King promotion panned out but I know it was Burger King doing that promotion for winning a Wii U.

Nintendo has always done things with Burger King, while Sony does stuff with Taco Bell.

Ninja_G_Aidan3872d ago

...Same shitty food, same promotion, different console! That's still a mess up from their point though.
You probably work for one of these companies and promote that shit!

OldGirl3872d ago (Edited 3872d ago )

You're being an asshole. Was I a douche to you about it? No I simply said you were wrong.

So you get two different companies completely mixed up, instead of just admitting you were wrong, somehow I am the douche who works for them trying to lure you into buying this? Paranoid much?

I never said the promotion worked flawlessly, I even agreed with you it was a mess. I simply said some did receive them though. You're the ass just acting like because it didn't work for you, everyone else is a liar or works for taco bell.

What employee cares that much about promoting taco bell anyway. How stupid does that sound, unless they are paid to be in a commercial and I am definitely not getting pad to tell you this, no one cares about promoting it.

I don't give a rats ass if you try or not. If you read my previous comments on this page, you would know I can't even stand to eat this food. The only reason I even tried was for a damn Vita in the first place.

Shit I don't recommend anyone eat this food. The most I can say is give it to a dog or someone else willing to eat it unless it is just literally all you can afford.. I am not going to talk shit about someone because they can't afford better.

If I were a god damn employee I would probably be fired just for saying this, seeing as how intrusive companies are in just about everything you do in your day to day life now. People getting fired over twitter comments and shit...

Ninja_G_Aidan3871d ago

...No need to write a f*cking essay, b!tch!

XboxFun3874d ago (Edited 3874d ago )

Taco Bell is delicious! You cannot beat a steak mexi-melt with extra cheese! Not to mention a Taco Bell with a KFC combo! that is late night after club goodness right there.

This would be the only way I would get a PS4.
Good promotion Sony!

xHeavYx3874d ago

I agree that the food tastes good, but the ingredients... Better not even look at them

XboxFun3874d ago

I'm sure if we looked at the ingredients or saw the conditions of food factories for most of the foods we eat, we would fall to our knees in disgust.

This is one of the only times where ignorance is bliss.

medman3874d ago

Have you ever taken a look at what the FDA allows (within certain levels) in the food you buy in the grocery store? That list includes rat hair, maggots, insect eggs, and animal feces, among other vomit inducing items. Happy eating!!

FamilyGuy3874d ago

That's true about a million things though.
If it taste good, it's sterile/clean and doesn't kill me I don't really care how they filled my stomach.

I'm not gonna eat crappy tasting food just because it doesn't have fillers.
KFC > Store brand fried chicken
Tacobell > Del Taco

El_Colombiano3874d ago

I <3 Taco Bell and this is even more a reason to go again!

JoGam3874d ago

Once you thought it was safe to comment its not. Beware of the Taco Bell haters....lol

Games That Were Bad on Release, But Are Now Great

BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.

Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."

Good list..hoped to see Street Fighter 5 there..and it is.

Vits6h ago(Edited 6h ago)

Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.

darthv724h ago

Several years ago, i submitted an idea to Rare that would change up the mechanics of battling opponents in the game. whereby if you died in battle, you turned into a skeleton warrior and had to fight your way back to the land of the living. It was an interesting twist on respawning and would allow the player to experience both sides of a battle.

I keep hoping to see something like that get added to the game.

Kaii6h ago

They consider FO 76 & ME Andromeda to be great now 🤭

Every game in the last 2 decades...

INMATEofARKHAM0m ago

It's sad that this quick retort is more often than not true... The industry's acceptance of release and patch has gone too far.

WRATH: Aeon of Ruin review - Games Asylum

Games Asylum: "It seems reasonable to suggest most people have a preferred takeaway establishment. The one that you always find yourself coming back to, much to your waistline’s despair. Should that takeaway temporarily close, you’ll doubtlessly have to expand horizons and go elsewhere. Sure, the food from a second choice might be palatable, but it’s never the same, lacking in zest. This analogy can be applied to the 3D Realms published WRATH. It’s powered by a modified version of the Quake engine, and even plays like ID’s masterful shooter at times, but it’s lacking that all important crunchiness. It isn’t completely soggy, but there’s not much bite either."
