However the Series S is obviously a limitation because it’s underpowered and developers have to go for parity.

I heard people on Twitter say “it feels like we got a video game” and honestly after watching this bright, vibrant, fun trailer which makes you smile giving you flashbacks to those old school glory days, I kind of “get it”
It does feel like it’s just a fun looking game over something like Concord which just screams “give me your money”.

NaughtyDog are most likely moving onto a new IP next so it would have been the perfect time to do it.
PC gamers are just too patient and loyal to their gaming set ups, something they've spent a lot of money on to perfect. They have backlogs of games which many never get round to finishing or get round to at all and will always have other multiplatform releases to keep them going.
Over the many years Sony has published so many awesome titles such as The Last of Us, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Infamous, Killzone, LittleBigPlanet, Dreams, Puppeteer, Resistance, Heavy Rain, ...

Sony bought Firewalk Studios and Haven right off the bat so a lot is riding on this game.
Even though it’s not military, I think the last good old school multiplayer game for me was Uncharted 2.
You literally had two boosters which really didn’t feel like they did much after level 20 or something when you were more experienced
No killstreaks, no load outs, no weapon mods, no nothing. It was glorious.

You know the funny thing is, I was late for the stream so I didn't know it was Concord, I honestly thought it was a brand new single player IP. When they started to use special abilities in the trailer which looked like something you'd see in hero shooters I started to click on.
