'Seriously unless you're a sweaty Xbox fanboy who's really chest beating multiplatform games going exclusive? Again unless you're a xbox Xbox fanboy.'
I've observed an obscure user on here that I believe fits that bill.
Damn, i thought this game would keep you busy from from making alts for at least a day? Oh wait you probably already finished it in a few hours.
It depends. Even on Xbox CoD still sold millions of copies, this will canabalise a large portion of those sales, potentially hundreds of millions in initial revenue. With the assumption being it'll get more players from GP buying MTs.
But with poor console sales, GP is hitting it's saturation point on console and stagnating, and with PC being very entrenched in steam with gamepass not being that popular there, without a bigger install base it's not really going ...
Is it? Currently only just over 2000 reviews at 83% positive.
Wonder if they'll cherrypick reviews again like with starfield. Either way I can see this being in the 80s, even though I strongly disliked the first game.
I'll stand corrected on the steam sales, although I'd also add it's 25% cheaper and seems to have fizzled out faster than Helldivers has thus far.
I wonder how much it sold on the rental machine? Also how is palworld relevant anyway? It's a 3rd party timed exclusive which you were always so eager to discount from arguments in the past, which is also arriving on other platforms at some point :)
People really need to read the article.
Player count does not equal sales, I thought the commercial failure of hifi rush which closed the studio, and it's '3 million players' would have taught you that ;)
@darth. Sony absolutey owns the IP.
At least you're not trying to hide it now lol. Making more alts to upvote yourself and mass downvote others?
The series consoles have been complete failures, deal with that and get some help lol.
Yikes, it never ends.
Hopefully the next Nintendo system isn't a potato and it can contribute to FF sales in future as well, in addition to PC releases. If this ensures the long term health for SE and franchises than like FF and KH then I'm all for it.
If they announce it too early it might impact console sales for months, imo they won't announce it this month, but 1-2 months from release at the most.
The woody harrelson money meme comes to mind.
Even as someone with a decent PC, you are 100% correct, a good GPU will cost as much or even more than a PS5 itself. This isn't the early PS4 gen, you cannot make a higher end PC for the consoles price anymore, you just can't, GPU prices alone have become ridiculous.
You cannot build a £500 PC and get the same performance as a PS5, and it'll probably be even more extreme given the boost the Pro is gonna have, they really do offer fantastic performance relat...
@Moegooner.
Guy names exclusives that all released in the first 4 months of the year. They are still there even if not first party.
They all suck as well of course. But MS spent 10s of billions on these publishers for mass consolidation, every made a song and dance about how MS would save them, using their endless Windows, 365 and Azure money to keep them open forever and how Phil was some hero.
Nothing is safe unless it makes money, even for MS.
I can only imagine the little amount of revenue both games generated, sent straight to gamepass and excluded from the largest current gen console userbase. Not to say both games would have done well if they were on PS5 too, but you heavily damage to a games revenue when you put it on a stagnating sub service for a poorly selling console, can't really see people going out in droves to sub to GP to play this.
Can't wait to see the usual try spin and play this down. So much for the heroic MS and Phil saving these studios eh.
So much for the nonsense narrative that playstation is somehow failing so they are going to immediately start releasing every single game day and date on PC lol.
