Build A Rocket Boy: "Dear Community,
As always, thank you for your continued support and feedback.
To follow up on our update yesterday, we are sharing insights and actions from the past 24 hours at the studio.
We are heartbroken that not every player was able to experience the game as we intended. Our priority is optimizing performance and stability so that every player, across every device, can enjoy an equally high-quality experience."
Zahra from NoobFeed writes- As it stands, MindsEye is a cautionary tale with star power behind the scenes that cannot carry a game that lacks polish, balance, or soul. For a game trying to explore the intersection of consciousness and technology, it's ironic that MindsEye itself feels so utterly lifeless. A mind-bending vision is lost in translation, where high-concept dreams crash into low-effort design.
If these guys were on metacritic, this would be the highest review of the game.
Digital Foundry : Big frame-rate drops and inconsistent frame-pacing must be addressed, for starters.
The catastrophic launch of MindsEye dominates the Direct this week - but how does the game actually look and run on PS5…
"We are heartbroken that not every player was able to experience the game as we intended".
Who would have experienced the game as intended? No one! Just not a good game.
NevermindsEye
The game just isn't good.
It's always very curious when a game releases in this shape , and the studio says they're sad people didn't have a good experience. I mean, you released the game like this. You knew what it was before you sent it out to the wild. So what could you actually expect. Were you hoping people just wouldn't notice. Or maybe thought they would just ignore the glaring issues.
They sure cranked up the advertising to 11 leading up to its release, all the while knowing the game was broken/not good. Now they apologize as if they didn't see this coming, as if they didn't know the state the game was in.
