Noisy Pixel writes: "Lastly, it’s no exaggeration to say that despite greeting the PlayStation 5 over a year after its initial release, Hi-Fi Rush feels at home here, primarily thanks to the DualSense controller. This carry-over functionality from the PC version of the title provides haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support that, when coupled with the timed rhythmic attacks, instills indescribable levels of immersion. Moreover, the controller’s speaker is utilized for various sound cues, including picking up upgrades discovered throughout stages; a minor appreciated touch of polish."
"First Hi-Fi Rush and now Beat Slayer, I'm convinced the rhythm-action genre has a ton of potential just waiting to be explored," writes Hanzala from eXputer.
CCG writes - "Hi-Fi Rush Rush is a well-polished game and my game of the year so far. The only nitpick I have is that there are some timed quick time events. Other than that, it was a joy to play. "
Eurogamer: "Hi-Fi Rush has arrived on PlayStation 5 and it's an excellent port of the original Xbox Series X and PC games... with slightly improved shadows. Tom Morgan reminds us of how great this game is, and examines Xbox's multi-platform record so far. From Ghostwire: Tokyo's Xbox issues to Pentiment receiving 120Hz support on PS5 first, surely Microsoft's flagship console should automatically be the best place to play its games and the first platform to receive new features? Great games get a wider audience now and that's a great thing - but Xbox needs to dot all the Is and cross all the Ts a little more carefully."
An extra year of Dev time let them polish it more the results are garunteed to be back ported to the Xbox.
Let's try not to blow this one out of proportion
Better shadows are nice but what makes the PS5 version trully superior are the Dualsense features. A rythm game like this works great with haptic feedback.
That is one sturdy guitar.
Great game! Glad it came to PS.
This game is fucking FIIIIIIIIIREEEEEEE
Not surprised, it’s a damn good game.
