To be honest this is how I would have played it anyway. Gust knows what Western JRPG gamers usually want!
And oh yeah it is CONFIRMED COMING TO THE WEST that is the absolute BEST PART! I was getting worried.
First day for me!

IF you DONT have a PS4, your still in luck PC is a good option. PS4 for me but NO one should miss this game!

Good! no need for cringy English voices.

I understand where you are coming from but what you said is not necessarily true.

When watching anime I normally prefer the Japanese voice acting with decent subtitles (usually done by fansubbers) although I can usually tell when the subbing is not up to par. The same would hold true for games (eg. Nights of Azure) although I do have to say that I am more used to English voice acting than Japanese voice acting in games.

I have found that in Anime some English voice acting is very much subpar or "cringy" to the point where I prefer the original Japanese voice with English subtitles. There are some Anime were the English dubbing is excellent but unfortunately many are not and seem to treat Anime like a children's cartoon show.

Not all, there not actually bad these days. Go watch some green dubs of dbz those are horrible. Like always with these convos can't really say jp voices are better when you dont understand there language. All in all when I play them on vita the jp is usually muted cause usually the female voices are cringy. So what's so cringy anyways go into detail.

BishopPeace2663d ago

I'm someone who prefers being able to understand what characters are saying since i can't judge the voice acting for a language i don't understand so this is unfortunate.

blackblades2663d ago

Yeah, I like to listen and not read the scenes but its fine as long as I can can understand what's going on amd play its all good. Tbh it's sad people dis there own language to prefer a language they dont understand completely. I watch 2 anime that literally had bad english dubs and that was decades ago watching stuff now isn't bad at all or cringy as some say. Still don't understand why they still dissing like it's a plaque.

This is how I play most of my Japanese games anyway. The only decent English voiceover that comes to mind is Persona 5, Im sure there are others, but they are few and far between, definately not something I'd be crying over

Looks interesting, like Atelier but I assume with out a crafting. I'll probably pick it up I like to collect these obscure games for my collection. And I really enjoy Atelier games.

That is nice.
This series has a lot of potential and I would love a sequel. But a anime is a good second choice.

10 Disappointing Vita Localization Snubs

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "10 games which were localized for the western market and exist on Vita in Japan, but not overseas. It’s a topical subject I decided to finally tackle after NIS America unceremoniously decided to skip over Vita for Metal Max Xeno in the west – a decision which really bothered me as this was a game I’d been tremendously looking forward to. However, it’s just the latest in a long line of Vita titles this has happened to which has made being a Vita fan somewhat of a rollercoaster, particularly in its later years."
