Liam Croft - "It’s hard to call Sea of Solitude a bad experience, but it feels very pedestrian at almost every turn. Bland gameplay means you’ll rarely be doing anything too exciting, in turn making the short run time all the more suspect. Beautiful visuals and themes that may resonate with some are minor highlights, although they’re not enough to make up for insipidity."
Dual Pixels: "We take a look back at Sea of Solitude. The Jo-Mei game that explores the complicated emotions we all go through and manifests them as literal monsters."
The PlayStation Brahs:
“2019 is behind us and it’s time to look ahead towards the future. This time of year is all about those wishes, wants and needs. Let’s be honest, those needs fall under the wishes and wants. I don’t have any wants left at the moment but I have at least one wish left in me and that’s for everyone to experience some of the best Indie titles of 2019.”
Wccftech selected the Best Adventure Games of 2019 shortlist. It was once again a great year for the genre, mainly thanks to indie developers.
