Battlefield 6 campaign work-in-progress footage has been unearthed alongside artwork for the unannounced Battle Royale mode.
Footage of the Battlefield 6 player movemenent mechanics have surfaced from BF Labs, and it has some community members upset.
I do not want it in any way to feel like COD! They said from the start this was going to be a return of proper battlefield don’t let us all down now!
Looking at the video I think labelling it as COD movement is overstating it a bit. The movement still looks like it has weight to it, and is fairly slow in recovering from sliding and diving, so won't be able to be used nearly as effectively for evading like in COD.
Im battlfield fan but everything i hear, doesnt sound great, who wants BF to be a twitch shooter like CoD
I really hope that the the time to kill (TTK) speed isn't as fast as COD or the last 3 entries in the battlefield series making medics pointless as the time to save/revive someone takes time and you're usually killed yourself in doing so. If this is to remain a team based game like it once was, the way Battlefield once was, it needs to be taken down a notch for me.
The more news we hear about this game, the worst it gets now. Smh. They still seem to not get it if they keep wanting to stear away from old bf.
Our first look at Battlefield 6's factions will assuage fears for now, as there are no goofy-looking specialists that will ruin the experience.
If there's anything I've learned so far when it comes to this type of thing - No goofy-looking operators YET.
While previews of Battlefield 6 have looked intense and quite good, the game has already stumbled into controversy with its early test.
If by "tablet babies" you mean kids/teenagers, they are not the ones complaining about this. Trying to appeal to them is the reason EA is doing this. It's the old fans of the series who are mad.

So you're a throwback fan who wants them to go down the same road that led to 2042? Unusual, but taste is subjective I guess lol.
I wanted them to make the destruction back to the Bad Company 2/ Battlefield 3 days. To each their own but a medic with a sniper rifle isn’t going to stop me from buying the game lol.

Battlefield veterans are upset by this. I’m personally not bothered by it. But I can see their point of view.
Rooting for this one to be good . I had a good time with Battlefield one at the time and everything it had going on. Hopefully it’ll reignite the spark by delivering a good multiplayer environment and experience just like one had done in the past .
Good time for Battlefield to get my attention again. With Black Ops 7 trying that future crap, I do hope the new Battlefield can keep me busy

Why? Splitgate 2 should have been a lesson to devs not to dilute your game with a fad mode no one wants. No one playing BRs is going to switch to Battlefield to play one, and the old BF fans that actually want to play the game just want the real modes (mainly Conquest and Rush).
I'm digging what I'm seeing so far, all DICE needs to do now is fix it's weapons and "Fog of Combat" sound design to make it like INSURGENCY: SANDSTORM and I think it'll work out just fine.
I REALLY hope they say away from goofy skins... if they do, I'll be sure to check this one out
