@cooper I agree that Silent Hill is better, and most people probably do, but it's still subjective, lol. Your "ample facts and reasons" is something that others may not agree with. Now you could call them wrong, but you'd be calling them wrong for having a different opinion than you, which is silly.
Thank you all for the tips, I think I'm going to take the plunge, as soon as I finish FF7 Remake that is.
Never played an Ys game before, but I've fallen in love with and finished all 9 LoH games over the past few years (even platinumed CS2-4, and I'm not a trophy hunter), so I'm kinda anxious to try them. What is a good starting point for PC or PS4/5? Do I need to have played the previous games like LoH?
I dunno, for me the ubisoft formula has gotten pretty stale.
Do you need to ha e played the first one? I'm not really into handheld games, but am pretty interested in this now that I can play it on a TV.
Yeah, this is gonna be crazy. I imagine these lockdowns have created lots of new gamers, because what else can ya do?
It's not easy to capture that CoD or Fortnite lightning in a bottle with a service game, it's exceedingly rare in fact.
I highly recommend you do. I was a bit skeptical at first. I questioned: "Why couldn't they just make this DLC?" But there is so much added to the game that it basically feels like a new game. Also, if you like the Jungian approach to the series, Royal doubles down on the psychology aspect.
I've never played a game in this genre, but it's Persona 5, so time to try something new.
Pretty brazen of them to try and double the price. Not sure what they were thinking.
For me, Persona 5 Royal was game of the generation, with God of War a close second.
As are most Zelda games IMO.
Still think the first one was much better. Overall at least, obviously the sequel was a technical masterpiece, but the first one had a better story, more memorable characters, better pacing, and deeper thematically, as opposed to revenge = bad. I know this opinion is considered heresy however, so by all means, downvote me, or whatever makes you feel better.
I've bought 3 one year ps+ subs from there, you get the code like a few seconds after you order.
Why wouldn't you? Especially when the console with the "power", is routinely outperformed with the competition.
Which means you'll never run out of games to play, no? Jrpgs are my favorite genre of game, and even though there are a ton out there, and most of them are dozens of hours long, the genre seems to be dying, compared to previous gens at least. Hopefully Persona 5 inspired some publishers to take the plunge.
Can never have too many Jrpgs.
Raytracing seems like it would be super beneficial for the genre.
Didn't know it was bought out by China, now I know not to play this again.
