Yeah, but outside of games like God of War, we'll be getting both.
It's pretty cool. Still prefer the two tone though. I'd like to see one with inverse colors.
Seems like a really smart partnership on Sony's part.
Yeah, I mean, we all kinda knew Joel's death was on the table, but it could have been handled far better.
The game definitely nails that aspect, as expected.
When I was a kid, we called it the circle game. You'd make the sign, and if someone looked at it you got to punch them. Didn't make a lot of sense, but was fun none the less.
Yeah, it turns out the bean counters at corporations aren't that in tune with the culture war, they don't know that this is nonsense, so they err on the side of not taking a risk. There seems to be a massive disconnect with corporations and the general public. Even though there's nothing malicious behind this disconnect, it still creates problems.
People worried about physical games disappearing. Meanwhile, you can buy the physical version of a game soundtrack playable on a device invented 140 years ago.
Yeah, I guess it depends how long the delay is? This disconnect between game journalists and gamers seems to be expanding, not reducing.
I'm not sure that was the complaint...
Depends on the game, I suppose. I rarely ever even pay $60 unless it's something I absolutely can't wait to buy.
Hopefully smaller than Odyssey, which was just too big without not enough substance. Give me quality over quantity.
Yeah, I have major complaints about the game, but none of them have to do with gameplay, which was quite engaging and fun IMO.
Yeah, I have no idea why we look to giant corporations for moral guidance. It seems absurd to me. It's all disingenuous nonsense. A corporation has one job, to please it's shareholders, everything they do is motivated by this responsibility, they're not moral paragons of virtue, and I wish we would stop treating them as such. I mean, does anyone really think that any of them care about the causes they champion? When all of corporate America lines up to put a rainbow behind their l...
Gone already I guess.
Hopefully they surprise us with some great stuff. Wouldn't mind another Fable, or something RPG related. I don't have super high expectations, but hope springs eternal.
I don't know anyone that has been critical of the game that supports death threats, it seems a little disingenous and unfair to conflate the two. I mean, it's horrible, but the reality is, anyone who has any sort of prominence on the internet has to deal with this sort of thing, that's just the nature of the internet, unfortunately.
Yeah, hopefully the increased popularity will fastpace that though.
"So maybe overall these two consoles are a lot more alike than they are different like some have suggested." Just like every gen, lol. Both will have their advantages over the other with regard to hardware, but for the most part, you're getting mostly the same thing.
I certainly have my complaints about the game, but the stealth was super fun, much like the first game. I don't typically enjoy stealth games, but ND do it well IMO.
